Our ads all proudly say, "Open Year Round!" But we are changing that. Our plan for next year is to close on November 1 until May 1. EXCEPT - we will be open for Thanksgiving and New Years. Is there a snappy way to make that clear? Or an easy or fun way?
What I have is awkward -
Open May through October. Also open for Thanksgiving and New Years!
I guess it's easy to understand but seems sort of pedantic. ?????????
P.S. I looked at the FB page. A lot of complaining. Some funny stories, but mostly very tired people venting. I'll check it out for awhile, but I'm on an optimist kick. Might have to find the 'Sunshine up your Butt' group instead!

Not awkward at all. Perfect. Wouldn't change a word.

Thank you both. We want to be closed but we have regulars for Thanksgiving and we are always full on New Year's Eve. It's a big town money maker and we want to be a contributor.
I don't mind the occasional one off guest, but I hate the liability of the ice and snow.

I like the optimist kick. We all need it.
We also don't like dealing with ice and snow and guests. Especially as there isn't a lot to do here. If we were in a skiing area, that would be different.
I'm surprised anyone is coming here for NYE. It's frigid. We may even skip our yearly run to the beach.

We are full NYE. I'm surprised too. Town does have a celebration, but I wouldn't travel for it. Of course, that's me. Obviously other people are more fun than I am. :)
