Face Chat Snap Book Group

Some of the members of the Face Space Snap Book group are a little sensitive and somewhat harsh with their criticism. I don't like them.
Just sayin'.
I will continue to lurk for now because some of the stories are priceless. But yikes, can't even say hello without someone jumping all over for you.

Most of them, like us here, are fine. I've had to block some of them. I'm skipping a lot of the posts.

Might have been the same person, but I saw someone snark at you. I didn't jump in because I know you can handle yourself, but I sure didn't like it.

I actually was a member and walked away because I was being bullied by someone they wouldn't let me block.
They often give you wrong information as well. None of them have actually read a merchant agreement and will tell you things that may put your business at jeopardy.

I think a couple of people who actually do read terms and conditions, state and federal regulations, etc have stepped in to tell the 'it's my place, I'll do what I want crowd' that there are rules and regulations out there they need to be mindful of if they don't want to be sued.
I'm mostly reading now for the funny guest stories.

Sorry to hear it. That seems to be the way of the modern internet visionary- less vision, more technical, almost anti-compassionate attitudes. I totally get it. I experience a lot of the same in alternative circles online (the folks who used to be the tree-hugger types). People seem more intent on bringing a sharper edge to their genre than building others up. Things can get pretty harsh when it comes to their theories and whether or not you fall in line. Well, maybe next time.

Well, perhaps one should tread lightly re merchant agreements in another country. Was there for your perspective that didn't take into account the full meaning of the thread. One can only feel bullied if one is not feeling secure.

Actually, I pointed out clearly the rules of MC & Visa (US) and links to their policy. This admin disagreed with them, even though they were clear and proven. As for abuse, no one has to live with it.... certainly when it was directed at me.... I wasn't enjoying being abused and rather than stand up to it, decide to simply walk away. Because frankly, no one has a right to abuse others.
