"The rooms are too small." Yeah! for three adults!

Reservation for 3 adults for three nights. They called to make it 4 nights! Great!
They booked our least expensive room that has a queen bed and a daybed. It's the smallest room in the house.
They arrived and it is a couple and her father. Three grown ups.
Hubby showed them the other room that holds 3 - a two bedroom suite. Problem is, it is booked for two of the 4 nights.
They took the other room and told him they would only stay one night because "the rooms are too small."
We offered to put Dad in a separate room, but no, we don't want two rooms for three adults, we want one room. Like camping. Fine. Good riddance.

What @#$% holes! I'd hold them to the 4 nights they booked bc they're changing the reservation *while they're there* !!

Never, ever show a guest something they cannot have! Never! It makes them ugly.

He showed them two options. One larger room that was open for all four nights and this suite that was only open two nights. The room they booked was available as well. So they had three choices.
The real choice SHOULD have been to leave Dad in the smaller room and the couple take the bigger room for all 4 nights. Squishing three adults into a tiny room what their idea and it wasn't a very good one. I hope the room they find in Boston is tiny, noisy and cramped!

DH told them that he would have held them to 4 nights if the house had been full, but he'd only charge for two since it's off season. He was very clear that he was annoyed and angry.
