fun with breakfast

we have a group of 6 and also a couple, both staying for 7 days. VERY unusual for us to have long term guests. So, we are getting to know them. I noticed one only ate oatmeal (instant), so today, I make real oatmeal for the whole inn. She was thrilled. I offered to make her real oatmeal for tomorrow - just for her and she took me up on it.
The group asked for the quiche of the day recipe. While we were talking about possible combinations, I mentioned that my favorite is mushroom cheddar. But it usually goes to waste, so we stopped making it. They exclaimed that they LOVE mushrooms. So tomorrow, we are having mushroom cheddar quiche with sauted mushrooms on the side.
It's fun when they appreciate it!
