Yes, I'm awake after midnight. Why is that? Guests who cannot seem to remember the code to get in the door.

We've gone over it 4 times now. They agree they know the number, then they write it down wrong again. It's their house number. I'm assuming they lied about that on the reservation.

Been through this so many times I finally put a fob on the key ring.  I use a label maker and print their code on it.

We do not mark the key with our name or location so no worries of misuse.

blush Guilty. I often can't remember my own number. I never call myself. Maybe I should, by using the keypad. Ask me my childhood phone number and I can give you that. But all those numbers stored in my phone? I don't know them. LazyBrain.

And let's not omit the 4am wakeup buzzer for the spiritual disaster.

I'm exhausted.

I had a lady and her flying monkeys this week who couldn't remember her own phone number.

Smiling ...and the ones who enter the code correctly, then stand back and think the door will open itself without need to turn the doorknob.
