Yes, I'm awake after midnight. Why is that? Guests who cannot seem to remember the code to get in the door.
We've gone over it 4 times now. They agree they know the number, then they write it down wrong again. It's their house number. I'm assuming they lied about that on the reservation.

I had a lady and her flying monkeys this week who couldn't remember her own phone number.

Guilty. I often can't remember my own number. I never call myself. Maybe I should, by using the keypad. Ask me my childhood phone number and I can give you that. But all those numbers stored in my phone? I don't know them. LazyBrain.
 
Been through this so many times I finally put a fob on the key ring. I use a label maker and print their code on it.

We do not mark the key with our name or location so no worries of misuse.
