We are sick of the Rezovations glitches and outages...lloking to switch
Has anybody used Think reservations or cloudbeds...or another suggestions

We were using Reznexus. It was expensive and difficult to learn. We switched to Think Res and love it. We will never go back. It is easy to learn and use. We love the customer service. There is always someone to help. Good luck in your search❤️

ReservationKey. Affordable, bells & whistles, user friendly, great tech support.

We actually have had three.
We inherited Rezovations from the previous owners and within a year switched to ResNexus. It's a great program, very powerful, and if you have 9 or more rooms its a great asset. Most of the reporting package is good, although their pace reports are not what they should be. It's more expensive than most, but if you want lots of bells and whistles it will be your best choice.
We moved to ThinkReservations this year, mainly for two reasons - the pace report is much better, and to save some money. We miss a few of the bells and whistles, but overall are quite pleased.

For me, the problem is that many of the systems are only available in English. I needed a system that worked in two languages, not only because we use another language here, but also because it represents about a third of my customers who aren't English speaking.

Reservation Key for us.

Personally I would only work with one that would allow me to have a trial period before hand. ResKey does and I believe FreeToBook does, not sure about Think but have heard many using it these days. Good luck as I have heard Rezo /Weberv. are both going away very soon.

Hi we bought a 5 room B&B last October and settled in Feb 2018. We did a back to back to back demo with Think, RezNexus and Rezovations and it was obvious Think was the choice - clean UI, easy to navigate and very intuitive. We settled Feb 2 and I was live on Think in 10 days with history from prior owners (crappy) webervations system migrated too
As others have said the support is great, excellent reporting.
And I used to work in business software for 14 years before buying the B&B ,,,,,
good luck!

With Rezovations / Webervations now being sunsetted, we looked at a few options, which there are many, and decided to go with ResNexus. I found the cost comparison to be in the middle range of the systems we reviewed. It is not all about the monthly fee, consider what the their take for OTA sales are, etc. I agree going with something that does not require a year or more contract is best; month to month is a better option (not that you want to go through another conversion). Also, check out reviews on the system and the support (https://www.capterra.com/reservations-software/). We haven't started using the new system yet, so an opinion could change.

After 14 years, I just decided this week to go with Think, they seem very nice, capable and evidently very busy lately. My conversion date isn’t until Jan 17 but this is our slow time so it works.

We've decided to go with Little Hotelier. It was between them and Think but the customer service is just so much more my style with LH and I like they way they do OTAs, their interface could use some improvement overall but it's not far from Think. We'll go with them for the year and then re-evaluate. Anything is better than the ResKey that the current owners are using.

Really? Am quite sure that puzzles many of us here. What exactly don't you like? Maybe it's not set up properly? The new themes provide a gorgeous guest interface with much larger pix than Think. The reports are amazing. And there is tons of versatility with the Reservations Manager. John is great re customer service. In addition, the value is much better. What is it missing?

We use ResKey and enjoy it. As I’m working on listing with OTAs I’m finding that it might not be the best choice. Not having a direct link with them and having to use third party software to update the calendar it might not be the best option anymore. As the cost is now higher than others that have a direct link. So I’m torn on staying or switching. He said, he wanted to have a direct link but sometimes it takes a long time to get new features. It has worked very well in the past and so I would rather stay but we will see what happens.

I find that statement to be hard to believe. I've used ResKey for years and it's wonderful. Handles everything I need, easily and reliably. To say "anything" is better is ridiculous, because too many of us switched from much worse software to ResKey, and were so glad to find it.

Yes, I agree, it was an overstatement on my part, but for my needs and from what I see. ResKey is very Microsoft PC in it’s interface design. I saw that I can use CSS to design my own theme, which is good but having to use “My Allocator” to deal with OTAs and the fact that they don’t accept Stripe as a CC merchant rules them out.
Sadly, my choice of Little Hotelier has let me down as I’ve tried finding all that I’m wanting to do, they don’t do gift certificates. So it looks like we’ll be going with ThinkReservations, which is what my broker recommended in the first place.
We will likely use the current ResKey setup from the previous owners for the first few months just to get going.
I’m glad that ResKey works for many of you.

If there's any chance you can get things going now, I believe think it's offering a deal that ends in December. Reduced set up fees, I believe.

Note that Think will import your data from Reskey, making the switch easier. We also started with ResKey then switched to Think and have been very happy with the service and support.
Good luck in your new venture!
