Long time guests overstaying their welcome. Just got in the shower at 11:15.
I hate when this happens. We're pretty lax with repeats. Ugh.

Did you put up a clear sign in the rooms? That has worked wonders. Of course the fact that I mention that the code on the door expires at the same time certainly helped!

Of course, method 2 would be to expire the codes at 11AM and then automatically unlock the doors.... so if they lock it, they can't get back in. Nothing says you overstayed your welcome than the sound of the lock unlocking itself :)

Sign on the back of the door. Info in the guest book. Info on the card with the WiFi password. Info on the sheet they signed stating it's $50/hour after 11.
They were gone at 11:45.

If they are regular repeats...about all that seems fair to do now is make a note to yourself for next time to: Ask so & so upon check-in if they'd like to secure a late check-out now (taking their payment right there or at least getting their cc# right then) or if they prefer to let you know at breakfast on (state day of check-out).
