When I opened my system this morning to bring up the Chrome Browser (my default) it comes up with some garbage of using it as a guest. it will not go into Google as usual. Have any of you had this?
Someone posted on a Help about it and the answer given was not satisfactory to me - something about creating another sign-in and my old one would not transfer.
This crap is beyond me. Off to a Christmas dinner at a place I need to get there before dark and spend the night - I LOVE my West Virginia roads.
UPDATE: OK, Everyone, time for a horse laugh. All my computer guy had to do was click on my icon and Chrome was back. A Windows update (as I had expected) had taken it away. All better and he cleaned up some other stuff when he was here.

It sounds like you're not logged into google. It could be it was keeping you logged in and then for some reason now it has logged you out. If you log back in, you'll probably be okay

When you first set up this computer did you create an account to use chrome? It's possible it automatically logged out. Kind of like this forum does every so often.
If not, try clearing the cache.

My computer guy is coming over t his morning to look into it. He had installed another browser for me a couple months ago to use for FB - Words With Friends had something in it that would take control of my system with one of those call or click to clear this problem thingies that the only way to escape is shut down and reboot. Everything was working fine until a few days ago.
Chrome was up with my Goo+ attached to it so I assume I was logged in correctly. I also did do another sign- in with Goo pulling it up on the new browser since Chrome does nothing - there are posts on the help screen from people asking the same thing but will wait for my computer guy to do his magic - i know enough to be dangerous and realize it.

I unloaded WWF when I tried to do an update and the list of things it wanted access to were down to root access. Umm, no. I want to play a game I paid for, you don't get access to control my tablet!

I dumped two other games for the same reason. Kept that one because I figured those playing me had already done the dump.
