I did my Aspiring workshop this afternoon at the Small Farms Conference today. Had to deflate my head after the comments I was told afterward - one was from a neighboring State, one said she came to the Conference because of this workshop, and another told me as we were leaving the building it was the best session he had attended so far. All I can totally attest to was that no one dozed off. My Power Point worked (this was the second one I ever did) and there were 17 in the class. (I had no idea how many were going to come until they showed up.)

Yes good. Any long-time innkeeper knows a LOT that newcomers would never even think about. So good of you to share that valuable knowledge, so they don't have to learn everything the hard way.

That's great. Can we help spread the word on your workshops? It's been a disconnected off season for us, so we're just getting back in the swing of things, like getting back on the forums. We have several folks who come through here who are interested in something like that. We would love to help promote your Aspiring Innkeepers workshops when you have the next ones.

Sure. I do it when asked. For right now, because I had no idea how many handouts to make nor if people still had a disk drive in their computer (they are now as much a dinosaur as the floppy disc drive), I posted the link to my handout on my About Us page on my website. I figured that was a bit of a hidden page that poeple do not go to often. I will be leaving it there for about a month. Sometimes I get paid to do it, this one was a freebie for the Association.

Thank you, I downloaded it. I'm sure you already know that there's a typo that reads 2011AspringHnadout.

We've been innkeepers for four years. I feel like we've been through a lot, but I realize that we are still relatively young innkeepers (in the experience sense).
Shelley and I still love to share our knowledge, but it's nice to have a place to send aspiring innkeepers that are serious where they can get a healthy dose of good experiential knowledge. Thanks!

I did a fat-finger with the title and just never changed it. Probably should do a rename (which I just thought of as I did not want to do another save as. This is the 2019 updated version BTW. Probably all stuff you already know.
