Shelley and I have been doing some research into using YouTube (which means we've been watching a lot of it) as a marketing tool for our BnB and our area. We've decided to start a YouTube channel called Living the B and B Dream. We'll share some our lives as innkeepers, local happenings, tips for different things, product reviews, and some other stuff.

I would love to hear some constructive feedback from you. Our YouTube Channel is here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRnmzTo2B9IBDE-RLEQuV-A

Our Facebook page is here: https://www.facebook.com/livingtheBandBDream/

Thanks!

C

Thank you for the feedback. We are looking for a better spot in the house and I think that the dining room table was good, the lighting wasn't as good. It's funny that you recognized that as a closet because that's exactly what it is!!! We built on an addition when we built our cottages that was intended to be a walk-in closet, but Shelley has turned it into a she-shed / office.

I like the idea of it. Just try and keep them a little shorter.  Like when you explained the water leak.  I wouldn't go into great detail of each room.  But explaining the3 process and how you deal with arriving guests under the issue of a major issue is a great.  You guys seem like great people and would be a lot of fun to be around. Smiling  The only thing I would suggest you work on other than the length is your backdrop for your videos.  Are you guys in a closet?  Maybe try sitting at the dinning room table with a cup of coffee with a nice looking background.  Great job!  I will enjoy watching your videos!

I agree the background needs to be changed. the dining room or the sitting room or even the kitchen is better than what looks like a closet. I had that same impression, Hillbilly, but did not say it.

I watched the water one. Good job. My only comment is it was a bit long. Maybe keep it to 10 minutes or less. It was interesting.
