Guest rings bell for check in doing the little kid's 'gotta pee' dance. Gomez says he'll be right back here needs to see which room they're in.
Do they wait? No. They both follow him down the hall and into my bedroom.
I have to go out and herd them back down the hall. Pointing out their room along the way so they stop doing a jig.

We had a guest do the follow routine. Himself was going to get something from his workshop to show the guy, and literally on his heels was Mr Guest - through the studio (our area) and into the workshop. Himself was stunned (did not hear the guest following because Himself clompped and his brace squeaked) and NOT happy about it.

We're odd I suppose in that guest rooms are back out the front door facing the front porch due to the building arrangement, but our office, if one wants to call it that, is the front room in our apartment, not totally unusual for someone with the guest to drift across the room where Maxine is watching TV to stand by the fire or check out various junk we have collected

It’s always a challenge. I often close the office door in their face as I go to get the key saying, “don’t want the cat to get out!”
