Just wanted to give a shout out to anyone who even read my post "listen to my gut" or responded. I needed to take it down quite frankly, so I could move on. Had I left it up I would have continually been reading it (yup, that's me) and not letting go of a bad experience in the industry. There is an inn on the New Jersey Shore, Spring Lake, a quirky Victorian, The Normandy, where I got my first innkeeping position, and was mentored by the best Inn Owner I had the privilege of working for/with. I did 2 season's with the Normandy. It is that memory, that training, and beautiful area that would run through my mind and keep me going during this not good at all experience this past year.
I value this site as there is so much I have referred back to or looked at to see what would these owners/innkeepers say or do in this situation. So thank you and my best to all!

i lost my innkeeping ‘partnership’ when a realtor convinced the owner to put the inn on the market. Without telling me. I was crushed. But we move on .
