I just typed in a whole recipe, clicked 'preview' to see if it formatted correctly...no ingredients list showed up and the directions showed up 2x. Hit the back button to see what I did wrong and the whole thing was gone.

If you preview a post, it is not saved into the database at all. It is just in your browser. Nothing gets written to the database unless you press the save button.
It is interesting, though that the amount data gets lots if you preview. That explains what happened to Muirford's entry earlier today. Okay, for now, just save the recipe without previewing it. PREVIEW BAD for recipes. You can always edit it after saving it. Not ideal though. I'll notify the module creator...this one is beyond my skills.
Thanks for narrowing down this bug. ;)

I also could not cut and paste. I got a popup stating that this forum could not read my private clipboard and I had to repaste into the popup. I did and it still did not appear in the text field for the directions.

That does explain it; I did a preview also but glanced at it quickly and didn't realize the whole recipe wasn't there. Mystery solved.

.
That is something related to security on your computer kicking into play. What if you click the paste button within this editor? (that is supposed to get around it)
