After 15 min are up, add egg to wet mixture, then sir in dry ingredients--don't beat it, just mix til moistened
Fold in:
1 c. nuts ( I use walnuts--original called for pecans)
Turn into greased 9x5x3" loaf pan
Bake at 325 for about 1 hour; allow it to stand 10 min to cool before you turn it out. Wrap it when cool & allow it to stand overnight before slicing.
I usually foil line the pan and grease that to ensure the loaf will come out whole.
