Description
Fast and easy crustless quiche made special with crabmeat.
Ingredients
| 8 | large eggs, lightly beaten | |
| 1 | c | milk |
| 1 | t | old bay spice |
| 2 1⁄2 | c | shredded gruyere cheese |
| 6 | oz | lump crabmeat |
| 1 | T | parmesan cheese |
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350. Spray or grease a 10-inch round pie pan.
Mix eggs, milk and spice. Add cheese and crabmeat and mix to blend. Pour in pie pan. May be made in advance.
Sprinkle top of quiche with Parmesan cheese and some additional Old Bay Spice before baking. Bake in oven for 45 - 55 minutes, until set and lightly browned.
Notes
Sauteed mushrooms can be substituted for the crabmeat to make a vegetarian quiche. We serve this with toast and sausage.
