1Tvanilla
4 eggs
4Tbutter or margarine (melted)
1 1⁄3cevaporated milk
4cpeach slices
2tcinnamon

Instructions

Spray crock pot with non-stick cooking spray. Combine sugars and the bisquick. Stir in eggs & vanilla. Blend in the melted butter and milk. Add peaches & Cinnamon. Pour into crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hours. Be sure to stir it up a bit before dishing out.

I made it.  It smelled really good and tasted good.  I used evaporated milk like it said and it was fine.  I have read in other books that regular milk in not recomended such as 2 % or whole milk because it will break down being in the  cooker for so long.  I don't know if I would serve it to the guests because it wasn't that pretty.     How is everyone else going to serve it?

You're right, it's not pretty, but if you put whipped cream or drizzle a sauce over it it helps.

I keep it in my arsenal of recipes for those times when the main item takes a lot of time in the morning and I don't want to hassle dealing with a side. Maybe twice a year.

Could you post a picture of this? I am still trying to get my head around what it would look like. Thanks.

Yikes! I'm feeling the pressure for this recipe!

It's a good recipe, but I wouldn't say it was great. I'm not a big fan of the taste of evaporated milk, so you'll have to try it and see what you think.

It's certainly not as good as a warm apple crisp. yummmmmm!

I haven't tried it with regular milk since it sits for several hours without refrigeration before the timer goes off around 2 or 3 am. If someone makes this during the daytime, let us know!

You can substitute flour plus some baking powder and salt.

=)

YUM!     I was going to make this for dessert tonight but I don't keep Bisquick on hand.  I have some out of town friends coming for my daughters wedding in 2 weeks () so I will make it when they are here!  Thanks!!

When I use my old crock pot it turns out great.....I bought a new one and like someone posted on another thread, the new ones seem to cook a bit hotter.

So with a new crock pot how long do think to cook?  I'd ideally like to do it overnight but if it's too hot I guess it could get mushy?

What happened with the new crock pot was that it got a little burned on the bottom. I think I had cooked it on low for about 7 hours.
