| 1 1⁄4 | c | dried lavender |
| 2 | c | sugar |
| 2 | c | water |
Instructions
Loosely tie Lavender in cheesecloth (i.e. leave some room for lavender to expand). Boil Lavender, Sugar and Water until sugar dissolves, keep lavender in syrup until it is as strong as you like while it's cooling. When cool store in fridge.
Notes
You can either add some to your whole picture of Lemonade (adjust to taste) or set it out with your Lemonade/Tea service for guests to mix themselves, this is what I do since my family doesn't like it.
All measurements can be adjusted to your liking! Simple Syurp is always equal part os water & sugar, you just add as little or as much Lavender as you like!

Where near Sequim? We lived in Port Orchard and Gig Harbor before heading east 5 years ago. There was an innkeeper on the About.com forum I used to frequent from Pt Townsend (They were selling their place) and most of the B&B In that town have closed or sold as private residences.
Were you in Port Angeles?
WOW, are you originally from there? That is too cool! We moved 5 years ago too! We lived in Bremerton, my husband worked at Bangor. I still have two sisters who live in Pt. Orchard! Gig Harbor was one of our favorite places to go visit. There were lots of B&B's there too.
Yeah, Pt. Townsend and Pt. Angeles were places we went to frequently. Did you ever go to Port Gamble while you were there?
So where do you live now? if you don't want to say on this public site you can email me too.
Where at in Missouri are you?
I have lavender too, but don't know what to do with it. the recipe calls for dried lavender; it that the flower part? how do you dry lavender? any other ideas would be great.
It's one of those things that is easy to do but your guests and friends will think they are being splurged!
I love this! I had it in Sequim WA the lavendar growing capitol of the USA. It was awesome!
