Description
Just ran across this easy to do recipe. Sounds yummy to me
Cookie Dough Truffles
Ingredients
* 1/2 cup butter, softened
* 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 2 cups all-purpose flour
* 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
* 1/2 cup semisweet mini chocolate morsels
* 1 cup finely chopped pecans
* 1 1/2 pounds chocolate bark candy coating, melted
Ingredients
Instructions
In a large bowl cream butter and brown sugar with an electric mixer at medium speed until creamy. Add vanilla. Gradually beat in flour and add milk. Add chocolate morsels and pecans, mixing well. Shape into 1-inch balls. Place on waxed paper; chill 2 hours.
*Cook's Note: Since the dough is sticky, roll your fingers into flour. This will make it easier to roll.
Melt chocolate bark candy coating in a double boiler. Using 2 forks, dip cookie balls into candy coating to cover. Place on waxed paper and chill to set. Store in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

Hmmm guess I did...short memory...the comment above..was from BOB SLED. So I guess they were ok.
I will actually have to make some and see what they are like...but have to get out to the store first
I had forgotten about these from last year! Thank you very much for refreshing my memory. I have been looking for one last bite sized treat to put in my gift baskets that weren't buckeyes!!
maybe when the ice melts from the driveway I will venture out for the supplies
Yum Buckeyes sound too good right now as well.... GO BUCKS..ROSE BOWL BOUND
Ah yes, THOSE bucks!!! It's frenzied around here...oy
"When the ice melts from the driveway..." How you talk, lol! Golly, gee, I think we'd wait until SPRING sometime for that to happen. November was good to us, but December more than made up for it.
Did you get buried in weather the past couple of days?
We had 20 inches last weekend
But with all the rain yesterday...most of this has disappeared..but boy are the creeks up high..won't take much more and we'll have some flooding in areas. Thankfully we are at the top of a hill so we won't.
