MountainState Association of Bed & Breakfasts (the West Virginia Association) will be holding an Aspiring Innkeeper Seminar on Sunday, March 8, 2009 at the Days Inn in Flatwoods, WV (Exit #67 on I-79) - the geographic center of the State. The seminar will be from 9am to 4pm with lunch on your own.
Kathleen Panek will be the facilitator for the Seminar.

Kathleen Panek has been an innkeeper for 13 years. Her B & B was a start-up in a small city in West Virginia. She has taught the Aspiring Innkeeper Seminar in Louisiana and throughout West Virginia. She was honored to receive the WV SBA Home-Based Home-Based Business Champion Award in 2006. She was also chosen by the State Tourism Division to accept the Tourism Proclamation 2008 from the Governor on behalf of the tourism industry. She has also taught classes in Marketing for Lodgings.
She has held several offices in the MountainState Association and served as Marketing Chair from 1999 to 2008. She continues to serve as Legislative Chair.
