Some good time ago we have been looking for bed and breakfast to plan a round trip within europe.
It was more or less left to me, Sandy Kosanke, to use my daytime to look through the internet.
You may know how it is. Our husbands don´t have time and leaves it to us.....
Honestly, I searched for hours in the internet, got many results and started to check the various pages.
Some are nice and helpful but I did not find a page that really gives me all informations fast, detailed and exact.
I noticed, that all pages costs me too much time and left so many questions open.
And - don`t forget - as woman I like to meet a simple but nice design of a BB-page.
I complained about all this to my husband and he said: Ok darling, make it better....
So the idea was born and I started to construct a page which fullfills all requirements for visitors to such a page.
This is only possible if the BB-Owners also have the opportunity to edit and publish their offers in appropiate way and manner without unnessesary and disturbing elements I saw elswhere.
One idea comes to he other and so on - and so on - and so on.......
This here now is the result.
Of cause, it is only the beginning and we are not perfect. We listen to all ideas which are coming from outside, so don`t hesitate to contact us for good ideas.

You make the same mistake nearly every overnight startup B&B directory makes. You get so focused on getting new inns (your goal), that you forget that in order to get new inns, you have to show that you appeal to travelers (our goal). When an innkeeper looks at your site and sees that the first five links on the page are focused at getting new inns signed up, it is a red flag that your priorities are wrong. You can't demonstrate to us that you are going to appeal to the traveling public by only having three links for B&B guests.
Perhaps instead of spamming your site onto every travel and B&B forum you can find, your time would be better spent making the site work better. For example, on some countries you get shown a lovely map of the South Atlantic Ocean. Get it all working and demonstrate some success, then promote it to the World.

Our site only 1 mounth online and first we want have big range of Inn's than our users will have a good impressions than they will get on www.bb-europe.eu
So... first goal and much important - it have big range of Inn's offer!!!
But basic goal - it's to get max usres on site., but that secondary.
We have registration free. Our basic goal - it to be in first page on search engine machines and top rank - and it's means - get max travelers on www.bb-europe.eu - but that require wide range of the best bed & breakfast offers!!!

Ass backwards. You'll never get Goal number 1 without reaching goal number 2.
Your current approach won't get you there either. Dropping links like rabbit pellets with lame site recommendations is not going to help with that.

It is a bit of a vicious circle. You're not going to get bookings until you have good product. You're not going to have good product until you can prove you can deliver bookings. Just saying...
Website not very impressive or user friendly.
You have to have a good website - not fancy smancy but user friendly with good photos. I looked at "toits de Paris" and the only photo was a scruffy wall with a couple of sconce lights. Would not induce me to stay there. I would approve photos on a new site if I were starting up. Look at the competition online!
If it's not professional looking I'm not putting my property on it. Once the site produces and shows up on a google search then I'll pay to be on it.
Yes there is a cycle. But what business starts right off making money anyway? You always have to put money in before you start making it with a new business.

Sure time will tell. But you have a long way to go to compete with the directories already out there. That's not very much business.
