BBONLINE - Worth It? Or Not?
BBONLINE.COM Is It Worth The Expense?
Innkeepers are always on the lookout for directories to list their bed and breakfast in. Marketing is a large component of owning and/or managing a successful bed and breakfast and directories that cater to these Inn's know that. Choosing how to spend your marketing dollars is always tough, and choosing where to spend your hard earned dollars is even tougher.
Paid Verses Free
Obviously, running a bed and breakfast is expensive so free is always nice, but if it doesn't work in drawing in guests, is it really worth the time invested of listing, updating and responding to inquiries?
Let's take a look at a free based bed and breakfast directory verses a paid directory and breakdown just how much better one is verses another.
FREE

The Difference?
Close to 50,000 more potential guests look at www.bbonline.com on a daily basis then they do www.bnb-directory.com, a site that has a better page rank. BBONLINE has a price structure that can fit almost any budget; the lowest yearly fee is their basic package which is $199 with the highest being $515 for the Elite members.
Is 50,000 more potential guests a day worth spending $0.55 a day on?
I'd say that is marketing dollars well spent!

Heather- This really isn't a 'resource' post. You are only comparing 2 products. Get a post together where you compare the top 10 B&B directories because this one looks like you're a shill for bbonline, which would not be a good thing.
This should be a post not a resource. Will you put this in the right place and delete as a resource. It is not.
This was posted back in April and only got dragged back to the top by the person commenting on belonging to lots of directories.
Please keep in mind that articles fall under the resource category as well as "resource links" and that this was submitted as an article. As with most of the web, when you encounter an "article" you always have to use your own judgement to evaluate the balance and information in the article.
