Well I just say say, "so what would you guys really love for breakfast?"........and they usually look at each other and say the same thing. However, it has occurred that one likes sweet and one likes savory, so I have cooked them different dishes....and they were majorly impressed. BUT I used...

I like to ask them what they'd like.....makes them feel special and it seems like invariably, they ask for eggs Benedict or blueberry pancakes!

Jim, that's why when I travel (I'm an Innsitter), I don't stay at B&B's often. I arrive late and leave early - not exactly an innkeeper's dream guest.

And btw, I'm new on this site - I'm an Innsitter from Nebraska and happy to be joining this group. PS I'm also on that same Facebook group and read that thread! Unbelievable!

I can't imagine feeling very friendly toward an innkeeper suggesting we hold it down!
