Autumn-Spiced Pumpkin Shortbread

A Perfect Autumn treat! Serve with ice cream for a fantastic dessert.

"Delicious autumn!  My very soul is wedded to it, and if I were a bird I would fly about the earth seeking the successive autumns."  ~George Eliot

No Need to Knead Bread

No machine needed. This recipe is yummy and very forgiving. It is a good bread to eat on its own or with cheese and wine. Wonderful with a spinach dip or hearty sandwiches.

Martha Stewart's Buttermilk Pancakes

This is the only recipe I've found that works for me.

Gillum House Rolls

This is a refrigerator roll that will keep up to 4 or 5 days (if there is any left) if the towel is kept damp (not wet). Two things in this edit: I use bulk yeast if using packages of yeast, use 2 packets (they come in 3 packets to a package) and if you do not care about fat, equal measure of shortening or butter for the applesauce.

Spoon Bread

Quick & easy to put together, this batter makes a moist corn bread.

Gluten-Free Machine Bread

I can't say that I've actually eaten it, but it smells great cooking and toasts up well.

Green Tomato Cake II

A moist, dense, spice-style cake perfect for sides or snacks. Could use a nice 'coffee cake' icing.

Green Tomato Breakfast Cake

Great for dessert or breakfast!

French Bread

This bread is one to make on one of "THOSE" days! I use unsweetened applesauce measure for measure for the butter. Due to this, the fat-free does not have thesame oomph the next day - use for French toast or bread pudding and it is wonderful. The yield is 2 loaves

Dorothy Bread

We make this savory buttery cardiac arrest on a plate bread every holiday, you will love it! Makes 12 large servings or 30 small single servings.
