Scalloped Corn

Easy to fix for Dish-To-Pass

Roasted Breakfast Pears

These are really good, they are made the night before and chilled had great complements from the guests. I served 1/2 pear each guest.

Autumn Oven Poached Pears

Warm spiced pears that work wonderfully as a first course

Classic Latkes

Happy Hanukkah! It begins at sundown today - 12.11.09

These delicious potato pancakes are often served with applesauce and sour cream.  I can't decide which is better, so I eat one with applesauce, one with sour cream, and repeat.

Cranberry Salsa

I don't like salsa, but this one I could eat with a spoon - forget the chips!  The chips are just the carrier!

1940's Tamale Pie

I grew up on this Tamale Pie and it was always more labor intensive - but if you substitute 2 boxes of Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix you cut the steps in half and it is just as tasty.  This is also the quick cook version.

Easy Microwave Applesauce

Crock Pot Peaches

Wake up to a house smelling great. This dish is almost like bread pudding and makes a great side dish, especially with whipped cream on top. It's best to use canned peaches instead of fresh. Also great with berries.

Oak Creek Peach Parfait

This little breakfast opener is a favorite of our guests and it’s easy to make. While you can make a sugar-free and fat free version of this….why would you?
