We have written directions on our website on how to get from certain cities to our place. In our confirmation email I say : " DIRECTIONS : BEWARE OF MAPQUEST, OTHER SIMILAR SERVICES & NAVIGATION SYSTEMS. THESE HAVE CAUSED SOME GUESTS TO GET TOTALLY LOST & FRUSTRATED ...trust our directions...

My wife uses the shredded potatoes which are fresh in a bag ...these are hugely better tasting than frozen shredded potatoes ...always a big hit with our guests with creamy style eggs with dill and homemade buttermilk biscuits ( see her cookbook mentioned on our website ).All her recipes are there.

Also, I use Readnotify when I email them this info so that they can not say they didnt know about the policy. Are you familiar with ReadNotify and its usefulness?

Thanks for noticing, Bob.We got a super deal on it in 1998. The Aunt Dee room is a rustic Appalachian style room. We have an old tobacco barn on the Baird House property with wide planks which we used as wainscoting in that room.
