    Trip Advisor Troubleshooting?

I gave up on BOTH. We get a lot of guests finding us on Google Hotels...and it's free.

Putting Feelers Out...New Smyrna Beach, FL Motel

Whew! Been busy but read your reply and thank you for the recommendation for bbteamdotcom. I found another site so I'll post on both. We will consult the attorney--good idea! And I probably wasn't clear: we certainly plan to keep our part-time 25-30 hour a week person, and then we will be...

Putting Feelers Out...New Smyrna Beach, FL Motel

You make some excellent points; thanks for your reply! I think I see where you're going...we would not be trying to get them for a cheap price. We're planning on providing accommodations a block from the beach (rents are 2-3K in our area) with a good salary. My husband is 72 and we had a...

Putting Feelers Out...New Smyrna Beach, FL Motel

Oh, I've been doing it for almost two years. And they were doing it for 20 years before that. You just throw in the loads throughout the day; it's really not a big deal. Fold at the front desk. A lot of little motels work that way. Front desk workers are used to doing the laundry.

AGREED. People love this and it's something they really appreciate. I don't think you're being too easy...good for business. We do it, too.

Running a Special...how to treat existing reservations?

Oh, it does. I just don't want to upset anyone or discourage them from booking in advance. How do you handle that? THANKS!

Running a Special...how to treat existing reservations?

Hello, everyone! We are hitting a slower season here and I wanted to run a "Stay 3 Weeknights, Get the 4th Night Free" special, Sunday through Thursday. How do we treat existing reservations already staying over that time period? THANKS for any advice.

    Washing the Rags

I'm new to this forum (hello!) and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for efficient rag-washing. We have a 20-room motel and recently got a commercial washer (30lbs), which has changed our lives in a wonderful way, but it also means our rags (cut up old towels) are REALLY stacking up...
