Ha, Arks,, I've seen that. Morticia,, I agree. The coffee machine is not for guests to use. She just took it upon herself to try and make coffee. We do have a few guests that are frequent flyers who can make coffee. They are early risers and have a decent head on their shoulders.

We use Comphy as well. Very high quality, very durable, and guests love them. We sell about 15 sets a year. I also like Malouf Linens as a supplier. We use their Convolution gel pillows and sell those to guests too.

I do ours although I struggle to be consistent. I try to do a Sunday weekend recap on our Facebook page. Pictures and an occasional video from the music shows.

We're staying with the guest asking for housekeeping. During check in, I tell them that if they need anything, just to ask. No complaints.

We get this as well. You can tell they use BCC which is blind carbon copy. They email a bunch of hotels fishing for a response. I ignore them and never hear from them again. We did get some fraud through booking.com. We now pre authorize bookings and that's ended those.

Here in Arkansas, the weather is so unpredictable. It could snow this weekend and be 70 degrees next! We had a group leave early because of the predicted snow fall last weekend. Snowed on Saturday, gone Sunday mid day.

We decided to add an RV pad and hire work campers for short term stints. That has worked out tremendously!

This is so true. I gave my housekeepers a raise when I returned to innkeeping, plus they get perks like breakfast left overs, free lunch on occasion, tips, and whatever else I can pass on to them.
