A Salute to all the Dads on Father's Day!
As some of you know, or may not know, I went with Dad to the Gulf Stream fishing and in the midst of a squall he had heart failure. Without going into the gory details, and the stress, he is doing fine. He will be coming over later today for homemade clam chowder served in pismo clam shells.
I blog for Virginia State Parks and wrote this last night when I looked and saw NOTHING for Father's Day had been written. So this is Dad last August when I took him to Occoneechee State Park for his birthday.
We also enjoyed this sunset on the water that day http://twitpic.com/9xgpnj (Click view full size to get the beauty of this sunset on a mere reservoir!) John H Kerr reservoir, nothing fancy, but look at creation in all its glory.
