WELCOME BACK!!!!! ALOHA!
Can't help you with Ashville myself, but if you don't get your answers here I can contact my niece who moved there last year. Just email me through the forum.

I'm in Asheville and I'd be glad to help if I can. There are lots...and I mean lots of B&B's here in Asheville ranging from small to small-hotel size. I'm sure more than one will suite your needs. We're one of the smaller ones.
We have great restaurants and lots of things to do here in Asheville, let me know if you need recommendations. Feel free to e-mail me (through the forum) with any questions that you might have.

That is because there is no e-mail listed in the profile. Nice to hear from you again.

Knk welcome back!
Do you want to stay RIGHT IN ASHEVILLE proper to park it and walk, or outside with glorious mountain views?

Black Mountain is another "very near" Asheville with gorgeous inns (we stay in Black Mountain, the prices are a wee lower, and the inns are fab. It is a small quaint town with shops and restaurants and not too far from Lake Lure and Chimney Rock) http://www.bedandbreakfast.com/black-mountain-north-carolina.html
as well as Hendersonville http://www.bedandbreakfast.com/hendersonville-north-carolina.html
Waynesville is not far and gorgeous with an Inn who stops by the forum from time to time Andon-Reid B&B and Inn at Iris Meadows. And innkeeper on this forum enjoys stating at Oak Hill on Love Lane ask for "Shell" if you call. http://www.oakhillonlovelane.com/ in Waynesville

If you have never been, please make sure you see Maggie Valley. :)
I am excited for you, the food ahhhh the food is fantastic there!

Aloha...welcome back..glad things have been good for you.
Yes there are lots of wonderful B & B's in Asheville. Don't know what your price range is. Many have gotten pretty expensive as competition is keen there. I have several friends there with B & B's.
Lots to see and do in the area as well. High quality Arts & Crafts abound! Black Mountain is a wonderful little town not too far away which is a nice visit. Of course you have to do the Biltmore!
Here are some I know and some I have stayed in:
