Wow! a couple of DJ's here in our town were talking about our B&B and the new Tea Room and they said we are "The Crown Jewel of (our town)"!!
over the air, on the radio station that all the locals listen to. WOW! YAY! how nice is that!
I know the locals aren't the ones to book here, but its super nice to know that we are respected and thought that highly of.. I truly had no idea ....

The locals may nor stay with you, but their friends and family might. BTW - have you talked to the funeral home(s) in town? Many B & Bs get traffic from folks coming back for funerals. I happen to live across the street from one - but I did not kiss the ring when we moved here so they do not send me traffic. But yours might. I even have a bereavement rate. Locals have sent family here.
