Today DH is 72. However he is not getting the pudding as a b'day present.
I was cleaning my Mother's big, heavy but pretty mirror that has hung over the sink in the "new" bathroom since 2006 and the thingamabob that held it on one side pulled through the backing - leaving ot hanging drunk! Guests due in tonight in that room.
DH went into his workshop (it was not called the sun room for nothing) and found 2 brass colored bolts. He then drilled through the plastic (I was disappointed at plastic but anything else would have made it weigh a ton!), put the bolts through and secured the heavy wire he uses for his paintings (2 strands doubled) - overkill. he had pieces left over from paintings that were perfect. The bolts he had blend in nicely with the frame of the mirror. It was interesting hanging it, but it is up.
He does not know it yet, but tonight he gets pudding as a reward.
