Maybe that is what killed the monsters...
But that reminds me of the insight, that if the Loch Ness monsters are leftover plesiosaurs (spelling?) from the age of dinosaurs (65.5 years ago or so), how does one explain that Loch Ness is only 10,000 years old, an ice age remnant?

Dochfour where that photo was taken is just across the Loch from us, directly out of our lounge window.
I saw the news report, alas, I didn't see the meteor.

Oh well, I wondered if it was near. My second thought was, "Oh Jeez, it's like asking someone from New York if they know your brother who lives there." At least you were near the event.
