Hello these are some UK based directories don't know if they are of any use to anyone but a lot are free or are free with a recprical link etc so might be handy for google love.

Reciprocal links aren't great but they are links. The problem with most directory reciprocals is that in exchange for a link from your home page, they give you a link that is burried three levels deep. You actually end up giving them more link love than you get. Rule of thumb, avoid outgoing links on your home page.
