Google Image Search

Ever wondered who might be using your photos? Have a photo you can't identify? Google now lets you search using an image. I took an image and loaded it and it came back with this... goo.gl/9zDAL (which I ope will work). A picture of an infamously horrible hotel. It guessed that it was from Montreal and then all the links with the picture.
Pretty cool.... but useful too. If you change your pictures, now you can see who has the old ones still posted.

Yes I just heard about the google image search capability yesterday on NPR Science Friday. They had the head of Google Search team talking about it yesterday.

It's damn cool. I found a picture of someone I didn't know. Upload the picture for the search and out popped their name.

I tired it on iphone 4.. took a picture of mine, tried matching it online.. got some voodoo dolls/shaman/tribal statues as result.
