Interesting find. The only people who really need to be concerned about this are

1. Those whose sites are being hosted on their cousin's "server" located in their basement.
2. Those whose sites have huge photos that they shrink down using the browser to scale them. (the ones that are like 3000x2000 but are displayed as 300x200)

This speed issue is more a concern for super large sites that have thousands of pages.
