At the risk of sounding naive, I need some guidance.
I assumed (and there we go!) that a government rate was offered for someone who was in government service, and needed lodging in the course of completing their work, as in a business trip. I have a request for a government rate on days the government is closed.
So...did I miss that a government rate is offered to gov't employees who are traveling avocationally (i.e., not working)?
