yes, all over French Riviera. they are callad heart tomatoes-very tasty however at least 2x more expensive than regular type

They look like a number of the heirloom varieties. You can grow your own

Alas, yes...I have seen them in Austin at Central Market!!! And bought them & eaten them! Grape or cherry tomatoes are a delicacy here.
