There is a free listing on this website for you, I looked and was already there, check your state and see if you can be found there as well?
They have some really nice trails/itineraries/events etc. There are a few glitches in the system, but it looks like a really nice portal for tourism!

The blog is also nice, you can search under topic or state example Indiana: http://heartlandtrails.com/blog/blog/category/indiana/

So you didn't add yourself? Interesting. I looked and I'm not there, BUT, when I followed the directions to add a business, the form was already filled in with all the info. Including our names. How'd THAT happen if I'm not listed? Especially as I never give our names if I can avoid it.

Listings don't show names.
We have an active link to our website, and it works, so for free I am happy about that.
I have not attempted to log in, as the info was already there. I did get a card announcing this Heartland trails in the mail yesterday, saying free listings (of course they want you to upgrade and pay). If they sent me any business I am willing to pay for their efforts, it has some nice features.

No, the listing doesn't show names but the form I was going to fill out to add my biz had all of my info filled in already, it even auto-filled the name of the inn as I started to type. I just wondered where they pulled the info from to have the form pre-filled.

Could it be your computer, auto filling info for you?

Nope. The entire form was filled out and I do not use any auto-fills for anything.

Hi All:
Thanks so much for your interest and support of Heartland Trails! We're relatively new and we're creating an online community of related businesses, (bed & breakfasts, antique shops, wineries, historic sites, orchards & farms, museums, events, etc.) the kind of businesses that naturally complement each other and share common markets. Our goal is to create the largest, most accurate database for this unique market.
Please let us know of any glitches or issues you have with our site and we'll address them immediately!!!! We LOVE the businesses and the community we're trying to build and we know that our users love them as well. We want our site and our user-experience to be the best that it can be.
While businesses may already be in our directory, we encourage all businesses to register and take control of their content. This will also put your business on our email list for updates and new features.

Hi Roger,
I was able to submit my B&B, Arcady Vineyard B&B, but when I tried to enter my wine tour business, Arcady Vineyard Wine Tours, I cannot add it as the system thinks I'm entering the same business twice. I used a different passcode, but it says I'm entering the same username. Is there a way around this or am I not doing it correctly? Thanks!!

Hi Riki:
Yes, each separate business requires a unique user name and password. However, a business can be listed in up to three categories. So if you have a vineyard that is also a B&B, that buisiness can be listed in both categories without a separate user name.
We currently don't have a category for Wine Tours, just Wineries but we'll consider adding it in the future.
Thanks so much for your support!
Roger

Thank you Roger, but we don't have a winery, just a vineyard.
I would strongly recommend you add tours. Ghost Tours, History Walking Tours, Wine Tours are HUGE these days. Many wait to come to town until they can book a wine tour.
