I have needed to take new room pix for this room for a long long time, so I bit the bullet and took a few. I am only SHARING THIS not asking for those who have terrible room pix on their own websites to correct my photos (HA HA). I just thought I would share this for "FUN" as that is what it is.

LOVE IT!!
I just had to go out and take some new photo at a shop in town. I was updating her site and it was like...oh no..none of her new beautiful stuff is there. So I ran in and took some quickly. Better than the old stuff especially since holiday shopping time is here!!!

Of course I did TRY to find something to criticize, and couldn't find a thing! Very clever, very good. Since one of my buildings has had the ghost buster team in there twice looking for "activity", I may copy your technique but substitute a Ouija board for the Scrabble.

JB being a fellow coffee nut, it's cool to see the cups of black coffee around the Scrabble board, rather than the standard glasses of red wine or champagne. I like that touch.

I like the fact there are "things" in it - you get soo many dull photo's of exactly the same thing - it is good to have a change

Thanks everyone. My idea was to show the table in that room in use. We have a huge games cupboard and I tell guests at check in "When you're not at home with obligations, work, it's fun to play battleship or scrabble, part of your getaway..." you don't have to always be on the go.
And for our neighbours to the North, that is my Canadian made Mason jar (it is square vs rounded).

I'm feeling pangs of guilt now becuase my room photos are about 3 years old, and they REALLY should be updated. Once the front double is finsihed with a new carpet I will re-do them all, honest guv!

What brand is that jar. Today there is basically just one brand that I see and that's Bernardin, which incidentally is the same company as Ball and Kerr in the US. Odd thing is that same company, sells some of the same products in Canada and the US, but with different brands. What may be Mr. Coffee in the US is Oster in Canada, because it's a better known brand here. Odd, sometimes seeing it on the shelves, though.

it is a Mason jar by Ball. That is why I think it is cool, we do not have this shape in the USA. It says made in Canada on it and in fact I got it as a gift loaded with homemade beetroot! I wish I had more...

I echo the thoughts of others. Very nice and "unconventional" photo. Not what you'd expect to see, but what captures the moment precisely. :)

Yup, but that's a US model. So they must have been available in the US at one time. This is what our 1L look like...

Nope got these from Canadians in the Plains area of Canada last year. The grow beets and can them and sent them on over to me... I know it is pretty interesting, that is why I kept it!
I might have to refer this to our MASON JAR EXPERT ON THE FORUM.
Her inn is across the street from BALL STATE. We toured the BALL FAMILY MANSIONS, and even a glass museum. It was so much fun! She knows more of the history, I read it but forgot it now! :)

That would be cool!
