JB - I did a screen shot of our website and pinned it, here it is. Took only a couple mouse clicks to do all of this. I have other ways of doing this, so before I posted Sugar Pine's method I wanted to test it out.

That's how I've been doing it for 15 years. It's really handy on those occasional sites like Flickr that block the right click/copy option to copy a photo, or sites like Snopes that block the select/copy text function.

Yes agree, we all have our ways, but there are many here who don't know how to do this, so sharing it for everyone. This is a step by step.
I have a toolbar icon called Pixl Grabber which is great and free as well (if anyone is interested), you don't need Paint or another PC program to use it. http://pixlr.com/grabber

On the Mac, you can screen capture with a three-key combination: command+shift+3
