We have a tiny dorm refrigerator for our guests. There are chilled beverages in there and they are invited to put their perishables in there. Unfortunately there is very little room for ice, perhaps 2 tiny ice trays. Occasionally guests may ask for ice for their ice buckets or beverages. Hubby wants to buy an apartment sized refrigerator for the freezer. I view that as a huge waste, considering the bulk of what it would do would be making/holding ice. This would be our FOURTH refrigerator! We have our own, one in the garage for guest items/overflow and currently the dorm one for the guests. Ideas? Thanks!

I've hard of several B&Bs that use these and they seem to like them fine. They solve the problem without much expense, without much trouble (no water lines to run), and without taking up much space.

We have a dorm size fridge with a freezer compartment.. It really is a life saver when it comes to guests needing ice. However, if your little fridge is not under a counter you could get an ice machine to put on top.
This is the one we have. It works really well and we've had it for 4-5 years now. We also had a bunch of fridges. We donated all of them to Recycle, the Habitat store.
