The video features an elk from here in my county! There's a large herd here!
And JB et al, I saw the post about The Rendezvous in Memphis. Yes! It's a must. It's like stepping back into 1950 Memphis, and the BBQ is great too! It's just across the street from the Peabody Hotel were "The Firm" was filmed. And just 2 blocks from Beale Street were W.C. Handy invented The Blues. Worth 2 days, or in your case 2 hours!

Indiana has an unofficial state song also. Can anybody guess before they look?
P.S I learned how to drive in Indiana.

Have forwarded to all my MANY Indiana cousins! My dad was one of 10 kids, and he was the only one who came back home to Arkansas after the depression. 8 of the other 9 stayed in Anderson, Indiana and worked in various divisions of General Motors. Their descendants are still there.
I told the cousins, "I heard it and thought of y'all you guys. Drink a soda pop and enjoy!"

I will guess Back Home in Indiana since that is what Jim Nabors (aka Gomer Pyle) sings at the beginning ceremonies of the 500.
Ours is officially Those West Virginia Hills but - the State bought the rights to Almost Heaven, West Virginia and it gets more play than Those West Virginia Hills. I doubt if many people even know the words or the melody other than Jennifer Garner and us old folks.

But I LIKE Those West Virginia Hills. Remind mne to sing it for you. Even my voice cannot ruin that beautiful song.

If you 4 travelers check my blog, I posted today some great new photos of your accommodations that arrived yesterday from the state dept. of parks and tourism photographer, who spent a night in Innkeep's bedroom recently.
Well, not while she was there...
His photos are MUCH better than any I've had before, but I can't use the ones of the living/dining area because his wide angle lens makes the space look misleadingly large. But the bedroom shot is a keeper!

Crop. Use only parts of the shot.

You are on our map if you haven't packed up for greener pastures.
