Take a look and tell me what you suggest we do on this - it is a quandary as the po's put the pavers right up to the circa 1895 cottage (which is now a guest room).
The green you see on the siding is due to the cascade of water that shoots down in front of the cottage if it rains. Here when it rains it pours and it gushes down the slope from the parking area through the gate past the cottage and down the hill. We have bricks there to help direct it - but it hits this siding enroute.
Now we have a chipmunk living under the cottage, it is on an old rock foundation and there is NO crawlspace whatsoever. The chipmunk has created this new EXIT for himself. We can't have water pouring into the underside of this cottage. I told DH about it and he will look at it tonight - which is when we expect rain!
He will probably put a brick or two there until he was determine what to do. It is between a rock and a hard place!
What would you do to fix this?
bear with me as I try to post these pics...
