99 free tips from the author of the hotel success handbook which is also a good read

Quite a convoluted process to finally get the list, but she promises not to share your contact information so it's worth it. I've been "added to the list" so will see if it's any problem, spam-wise.
I think a lot of these 99 items will be helpful. Thanks Camb.

I made eight changes due to this article! Good ones!
One change, due to #42, "Explain who you are suited to, and who you are NOT suited to (age/interests, etc.)..." is that, for my vacation rental where there's no staff onsite, to require that at least one of the guests in the apartment be age 24 or older.
I don't want a bunch of college kids having a party at my place. Of course, they could lie and make the reservation anyway, but if I check on who's there and they look too young, I can "card" them and more easily make them leave (and keep their payment) if they're under age.

I have signed up to her stuff before and not received any spam so Im not worried - also she if you sign up for hte 99 tips within a certain time you get an extra 33 (ie marketing strategy to put on a time restriction to get a better deal!) havn't read them yet though as the link came through this morning.

I didn't read the article but I just had someone tell me they want to stay here for a really romantic honeymoon. Very special lady. Wants to really show her how special she is. Blah, blah, blah. I had to tell him this is not the place. I invited him to look over the website but I did suggest a really nice place I know of where they would get the whole 'romance' thing he wants.
