Mouse Cookie Idea -- Too Cute!

A friend gave me this little guy. His body is a chocolate covered cherry, his head a kiss, and his ears are almond slices. He is sitting on half of a sandwich cookie. Thought I would pass this on, cute idea.

If you were going to make them, how would you get the kiss to stick to the choc cherry? A slight melting of the 2?

Looking closely, looks like the maraschino cherry was dipped. The chocolate used for dipping looks like it has sugar added to make it a little thicker than ususal. A dab of that chocolate was used to "glue" on the ears and head. The bottom of the kiss also is sitting in the white cookie frosting. It is remarkably stable. Friend is out of town, but I will ask about it when she gets back. A bunch of mice on a plate was way to cute!
