THING IS...PCI complaince, we can't just write the cc #'s down anyway, we have to PUT THEM back into the system for security purposes.
Back to the thread here at hand, IF they checked the box, then we can go from here...saying it never happens is a misnomer, this thread is about "it" happening.

How many credit card companies are going to show up at your door and inspect your house for a CC # you wrote down?
Write it down, run the card number, if it takes it....charge it and then throw the number away.

I would NOT block him - you need to have a copy of every email he sends - even if you choose to ignore it or send a "standard" reply to each one..
