We are not allowed to bring signs or anything but was thinking of a welcome banner on the B&B. Would also like to go and see if we can get a question in. We are full or we could offer a deal for the press corp or something.
It is Monday so we have like 3 days to work with it.

I think a welcome banner would be excellent. If the news teams are trolling around looking for something good or bad, you've got the 'good' sewn up!

My "i love cannon falls" page has some fighting going on it right now. It is amazing how divided we are as a country on politics.
Yep that with the over all look should create a photo op if they want one.

I agree, no matter your politics the leader of the free world and one of the biggest celebrities to boot is coming to your town, good for you for taking advantage of it!!!

that's awesome!
any time you can get some exposure because of an elected official or celebrity, i say jump on it. it can be tricky with political figures because of the different parties but i'd throw out the welcome mat for anyone reputable.
do you remember when about 3 years ago chief justice roberts fell at his home on an island off where my place was? the national news outlets were all calling me for 'man on the street' interviews. that was pretty cool but all i saw was him being put onto a stretcher from the rescue boat and into an ambulance. not much to tell. some of my guests said i should have embellished a bit and told my story while standing next to my b&b sign. anyway, it was pretty wild for a few days and i should have thrown my inn name in there each time i spoke.
