I did not expect to have a problem finding a job when I came back to WV because I had done so many things in Illinois. I knew the salary would be drastically lower - although I did not expect as low as they were. Instead, all I got was you are over-qualified so I started my own business. A B & B was the least expensive new business to open - I had to live somewhere so no extra expense for another building to buy or rent, pay insurance, utilities, etc. But I had planned to open a B & B for at least 10 years before we did it. It is why we bought this house instead of a smaller one.
