Have a motorcycle guest coming in Sept riding the Blue Ridge & Skyline - suggested JB but for whatever reason he said it is out of the way for their projected ride. He asked for suggestions in Boone or Blowing Rock. Looking for of-street parking for the bikes. So far one couple, but possibility of 2 more.

Love the area but haven't been in years. All the places I used to stay have long since changed hands. Thought this one looks like it got better ....This is where we used to stay: http://www.ragged-gardens.com/
I think the previous owner was on the original chat group with us. Do you remember JB or Madeline? http://www.thevictorianinnblowingrock.com/.
Victorian only offers Continental Breakfast. Is that standard there?
.
No, that place was just recently taken over by a local couple who I think have better things to do than mess around with breakfast. :-( Doesn't sound like a real B & B experience to me any longer.

Awww that was Scott Seaman and his partner. They had bought the Victorian Inn while they were working on putting in a vineyard and opening Labrador RIdge B&B and Winery but I don't see a current website for that anymore. I wonder if they had trouble with the economy tanking. I'm so sad not to see it up there. They had a great vision, but once you go past just having a vineyard (which is a huge amount of work on its own - just ask my hubby and we only have 450 vines) to having a winery, there are a lot of expenses involved.
