I had an email from a photog who has taken B&B pics for another B&B.
I wanted to share them as you might get some ideas from those shots for your own B&B. I am not going to LINK it tho or they will track all these views coming from this forum. Here is the website:
www. cedarspringinn.com / rooms.asp take out the spaces or google them.
Some of the photos seem to be of something I don't want to see. Is this good or bad? Take a look and you will see what I mean. Perhaps he is NOT shooting the bog in the bathroom so this is how they came out? Altogether they fit well. The place looks beautiful.
Here is the photographer's info should you want to hire him:

C h e s t e r , V i r g i n i a 2 3 8 3 1

I could see the fish eye correction in a couple of them (a fireplace that was slightly arched). No nothing knocking socks off, but some ideas maybe for those taking their own pics.

Honestly, I didn't see anything that 'knocked my socks off." Sorry..but I really do like some of his other portfolio work. Very cool thumbnail viewer he has. I am going to go get it and give it a try.

You might like lightbox2 from the same company. ;)

That's ok, but There is another viewer similar but without the motion in the box view..I don't like that extra time thing of expanding. I would prefer the box just appear:)

The script is customizable (complete with comments so you know what you are customizing), you just set the resize time to 0.

Ok, I will download and give it a try. People want photo galleries and I get tired of using the one with Dreamweaver. But I guess this might take more time since I will have to edit down the pics ect..but guess a group process would work;-)

I find I always have to "touch" each photo anyway to clean each one up and optimize it. Then I just run a batch process on them that makes the thumbnail whatever size I need it to be. Following a naming convention helps make things go more smoothly too.

This photog has a 'different' eye. I don't know if I like his style or not. Some of the POVs are a little bit silly, but a fair amount of these pics are very nice. The inn itself is gorgeous. I don't know if I'd have put in the picture of the outdoor light with the ugly yellow bulb...

They made me dizzy. The square borders of the pix and the curved interior were not comforting.

I did like the portfolio, tho. And that melon plate looked pretty tasty!
